Joan Nalubega
Founder and CEO
As a young child, Joan suffered from malaria frequently. Through this, she has found meaning in her own suffering and an incredible intrinsic motivation to create a Malaria Free World. As a Scholar at Social Innovation Academy in Uganda, she worked with social entrepreneurship frameworks from which she grasps both the economic and social implications of our business model. As a Tony Elumelu Fellow, Joan has managed to secure both seed funding and wide network access to foster relevant partnerships.

Amelie Hübner
Marketing and Connections
With degrees in international marketing (Bsc.) and innovation management (Msc.) as well as three years of work experience with a crowd sourcing SAS provider Amelie brings in business knowledge and network access to grow the business further. Working as a volunteer in Uganda, she has furthermore gained a deep understanding of the underlying problem and the target group’s needs.

Kaganda Sharfic
Operations Manager
With experience in Business Management especially in the production of consumer products, Sharfic is a proactive hardworking person with interest in creating impact through his knowledge in cosmetics production. Furthermore, he has participated in entrepreneurship frameworks at the Social Innovation Academy which has given him a thorough understanding of how to manage a business and its production elements.

Alinda Odeta
Assistant--Production and Finance
Having grown up in a rural area that was affected by malaria, Odeta has faced the challenges of our target group first hand. She uses this experience to contribute to our work. She is currently managing finance at Uganics and is also the Assistant Production Manager.
