We are a core team of four, highly devoted to the cause of irradiating malaria. Spanning different fields of expertise tasks and roles are filled according to personal aptitude. Through our broad network of partners, mentors and affiliation to the Social Innovation Academy Uganda we are able to obtain support and insights where beneficial or necessary.
CEO and Founder
Having been affected very much by the consequences of Malaria as a child, Joan has an incredible intrinsic motivation to ridden the world of the disease. Having worked with social entrepreneurship frameworks as a Scholar of the Social Innovation Academy, Uganda she grasps both the economic and social implications of our business model. As a Tony Elumelu Fellow, Joan has managed to secure both initial funding and wide network access to foster relevant partnerships.
Marketing and Connections
With degrees in international marketing (Bsc.) and innovation management (Msc.) as well as three years of work experience with a crowdsourcing SAS provider Amelie brings in business knowledge and network access to grow the business further. Working as a volunteer in Uganda, she has furthermore gained a deep understanding of the underlying problem and the target group’s needs.
With experience in Business management especially in the production of consumer products, Sharfic is a proactive hardworking person with interest in creating impact through his knowledge in cosmetics production. He has furthermore participated in entrepreneurship frameworks at the Social Innovation Academy which has given him a thorough understanding of how to manage a business.
Ambrose is a seasoned entrepreneur with a strong belief that each small to medium enterprise deserves a face, voice and ear, to bridge gaps with its public. He is a sales and marketing specialist, leader and strategist with sizable experience in business communications, operational management, and market analyst.
